Villatuerta to Estella July 9, 2015 11.6 km 17,185 steps
After café and goodbyes with our new found friends we headed to Estrella. It was a pretty uneventful walk. The landscape was stunning as always. It's amazing how quickly I can become accustomed to wide open spaces as far as the eye can see.

We got to Estella, which is a lovely town, and checked into the Albergue, Hospital Peregrinos. Then we went in search of a Decathalon store, a large sports store, in search of inserts for Leea's shoes. Luckily we found some. We also got a blue ice wrap from the Farmacía for icing her feet.
With all the foot stuff taken care of, we headed back to the Albergue to do laundry and rest. Later we went out to find food and ran into Gregory, one of the Australian guys from La Casa Magica. He was in a market with tables. The proprietor sold you what you wanted to eat. We had bocadillos. I also bought some donut peaches which were sweet as candy.
We returned to the alburgue for more rest and reading. We saw a lot of stuff going to the Decathalon and Farmacía, but not much sightseeing.
